Zenith is a world leading supplier and mnaufacturer of crushing, grinding and mining equipment. We have been installed thousands of mining machinery all over the world. Zenith always provide the high-performance mining machine impresses not only with tremendous productivity and precise control but also with intelligent design in terms of ergonomics and maintenance safety.
Our zinc ore mining equipment in Zambia mainly including quarry machine, zinc ore extraction plant, crushing plant, grinding mill, conveying system, separation machine, processing plant etc. Our zinc ore mining equipment has been exported to Zambia, Australia, Peru, Canada, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka etc.
Crushing is the first stage in the comminution process. This process step prepares the ore for further size reduction (grinding) or for feeding directly to the classification or concentration separation stages. Typical types of crushers are:
Grinding is the final stage in the comminution process and requires the most energy of all the mineral processing stages. In grinding, the particles are usually reduced by a combination of impact and abrasion of the ore by the free motion of grinding bodies such as steel rods, balls or pebbles in the mill.
Zenith provide complete series of grinding mill for zinc ore mining and extaction applications, such as ball mill, vertical roller mill, high pressure mill, ultrafine mill, trapezium mill etc.
Majority of zinc mines are extracted by underground mining method, 8% are of the open pit type. However, in terms of production volume, open pit mines account for as much as 15%, underground mines produce 64% and 21% of mine production comes from the combined underground and open pit mining.
The extracted zinc ore is with low grade, it needs to be concentrated. Zinc ores contain 5-15% zinc. To concentrate the ore it is first crushed and then ground to enable optimal separation from the other minerals. Typically, a zinc concentrate contains about 55% of zinc with some copper, lead and iron. Zinc concentration is usually done at the mine site to keep transport costs to smelters as low as possible.
